Vice-President of New Development Bank to Take Part in Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia
The New Development Bank has announced today that it will participate in the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia. At the forum, the Bank will be represented by the Vice President Mr. Xian Zhu.
On 2 September 2016, Mr. Xian Zhu will participate in a key session entitled “The Russian Far East: A Focal Point for Investment from the Asia-Pacific Region”. Panelists will discuss perspectives and conditions for attracting foreign investment to projects in the region.
On the same day, the NDB Vice President will also attend a key session “Integration in Greater Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific Region: Where Do Interests Intersect?” It will be focused on discussing strategic potential and implications of coordinated development of major integration initiatives in Eurasia.
During his visit, Mr. Xian Zhu is expected to have meetings with high-ranking officials, including heads of regions in Russia’s Far East and business leaders as well as speak to members of the press.
The second Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok, Russia on 2-3 September 2016. It is a unique platform for interaction and cooperation between officials, businessmen, experts and members of the media from Russia and other countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
