Alert to the Public and Clients Regarding Fraudulent E-mails

The New Development Bank wishes to alert its clients and the general public about fraudulent e-mails with money transfer requests that are using the name of the Bank and the Bank’s President Mr. K.V.Kamath.

Under no circumstances would the NDB send out e-mails or other messages asking to transfer money or provide personal information. The NDB does not provide financing to natural persons and does not charge money or ask for any favor from potential recipients of funding provided by the Bank.

Taking into account this situation, the Bank has requested the relevant authorities to assist it in informing the general public about the risks and potential losses incurred by engaging in any fraudulent communication not sanctioned by the Bank.

Anyone who has provided personal information or conducted any transactions as requested in unauthorized e-mails should contact local law enforcement authorities.

The NDB does not hold any responsibility with respect to any expense, loss, and/or damage of any kind, which might have occurred in connection with any fraudulent e-mail or other communication that the Bank has not sanctioned.
