NDB President Meets Russia’s Minister of Economic Development in Shanghai

On 2 August 2017, Mr. K.V.Kamath, the President of the New Development Bank met Mr. Maksim Oreshkin, the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in the NDB Office in Shanghai.

During the meeting, the NDB President provided an update on the Bank’s operations and its plans for 2017-2018. Current and potential projects in Russia were discussed.

The New Development Bank was established with an objective of financing infrastructure and sustainable development projects in its member countries. The Bank will support the efforts of other financial institutions and establish a network of global, regional and local partnerships with multilateral and national development banks as well as other institutions and market players.
