President of New Development Bank to Take Part in the 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia

The President of the New Development Bank K. V. Kamath will visit Russia to take part in the 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

On June 17, K. V. Kamath will participate in a panel session entitled “The Role of New Development Institutions in Realizing Growth Ambitions”. Panelists will discuss the steps national development institutions and international development banks should take to adapt better to today’s rapidly changing economic environment.

On the same day, the NDB President will also attend a panel session “Re-Globalization: Tectonic Shifts in the Geo-Economic Landscape” focused on finding a way to mitigate global risks and create a more sustainable economic architecture.

During his visit, K. V. Kamath is expected to have meetings with high-ranking officials and business leaders as well as speak to members of the press.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is an annual international conference dedicated to economic and business issues. Over the last decade, the forum has become a leading international platform for the discussion of key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world as a whole.
